This is a multi stem version of Betula utilis jacquemontii 'Snow Queen', with a wonderful form that displays the pure white, peeling bark to best effect all year round. Mustard tinted catkins hang from the branches in spring and silky green foliage turns creamy yellow in the autumn, completing the year round interest offered by Betula 'Snow Queen'.
It is rightly our top selling multi stem Birch, favoured for the snow white bark developing earlier than other white stemmed Birches and the less vigourous nature making it suited to smaller gardens. Growing to 6 x 5 metres in 20 years, this robust multi stem Himalayan Birch will tolerate virtually all soils and conditions. We also offer a single stem 'Snow Queen'.
