Core Blimey Apple Tree

This new variety of Cox-style apple is almost impossible to say without a cockney accent! Core Blimey was developed for the Orchard Project, which works to bring orchards to urban communities, for a London-based project. You don’t have to be a Londoner to enjoy this tree, though, as it is suited to most climates and areas across the UK.

Core Blimey is an easy-to-grow apple tree, producing bright red eating apples with a juicy, crisp flesh and wonderful aromatic flavour. Clusters of bright white flowers emerge on the tree in springtime for a pretty floral display. Ready for picking in October, Core Blimey apples store very well, keeping in a fridge or cool, dry place until January. Ideal for snacking on or packing into lunchboxes.
